Poll Results: Outlining Your Novels
For this poll, I asked, "Do you outline your novels?" I think I expected "Yes" to be more prominent given all of the writing advice out there online and in university classes, but wow, this is a pretty decent split! "Sometimes" won, which makes sense to me, and I'm also a "Sometimes."
The fact that pantsers are a little over a quarter of the vote is interesting to me, and don't get me wrong, my last few projects have been pantsed. I've just recently started going by an outline, so I see y'all.
