I’m a horror and fantasy author. I’ve worked as a tutor, volunteer, and social media intern; I was a NaNoWriMo Municipal Liaison for two years. I’ve done creative freelance writing, and I’ve published articles on The Artifice about Gothic fiction, horror movies, and vampire books. My article about vampire literature won Article of the Month for April 2016. I have also worked as a line editor at an indie pub called Ill Castle. I am on Goodreads. I’ve been a fan of horror since I was a little and spent class days reading Goosebumps rip-offs, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, and Bunnicula. I also have to thank Grandma for allowing me to traumatize my seven-year-old self with Jurassic Park and Alien. I love to take photos of birds and flowers, cook, and paint. I hope what I write will help others feel less alone. Also, I'm a huge fan of bats.

Before I graduated with my BA in English from Kennesaw State University, I worked as a social media coordinator for my university's writing center, which sprung from an internship. While working toward an MA in Professional Writing, I am currently the editor for the KSU English Department's newsletter The Broadside, and I am a co-editor for the literary magazine Exhume, which focuses on stories of trauma survival from queer writers and artists. I am also an intern at Sundress Publications, the social media and web editor for Doubleback Review, and a fiction contributor for Marias at Sampaguitas.  My short story "Papa's Work" won first place in the Short Stories category in the KSU English Department's Creative Writing Contest. I published my first novel, Dove Keeper, in October 2018. You can read more about my publications in my portfolio.

Acknowledgments: I couldn't have gotten this far with my writing without the enthusiastic help of those close to me. I am grateful for my patrons. Thank you, Cecilia, my mother; thank you, August Blair, a fellow writer and friend.
