Birds in a Cage book cover with a woman and flying birds

One-hundred and fourteen years after its protagonist was born, Birds in a Cage is OUT!

If you enjoyed Dove Keeper, this one still has that Gothic vibe. However, Birds has more of a twentieth-century horror vibe than Dove Keeper. Also, because Marcy explores her sexuality more in flashbacks of the Roaring Twenties in Paris, it is much more detailed in showing her bisexuality and queer (and sometimes poly) relationships between women. This one is a little more indulgent than Dove Keeper, but I heavily revised it down in the final version.

So, if you're interested in a dark and bizarre murder-mystery that's basically Agatha Christie + H.P. Lovecraft with some historical elements and complicated queer ladies, check it out!
