The Best H.P. Lovecraft Stories for Horror and Fantasy Fans

From June to November 2018, I read almost every H.P. Lovecraft story—at least, every story penned solely by him and a few collaborations.
Here, I'm going to list the stories I thought were the best; the ones with asterisks beside them especially stood out to me. This list is slightly updated from the one I've posted elsewhere because a few stories that didn't stick out at me once I finished reading have really stayed with me.
